Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell is an American chef television personality and former instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education. She's the host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network and the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, a Food Network host who has spiky blond hair and an ebullient persona, shows how to cook restaurant-style dishes at home using simple methods. Chef Burrell studied and worked in the best New York restaurants. He was also a part of Iron Chef America and the food scene of Italy. Burrell is a native of the Upstate and grew up within New York State's Upstate, began to develop a passion for cooking. The Culinary Institute of America was where she studied following her graduation with an English degree as well as a communications certificate at Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was a fantastic learning experience. The Culinary Institute of the Americas was a great opportunity to pursue a degree. After graduating, chef Burrell was in Italy for a year, attending classes at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. Additionally, she worked at La Taverna del Lupo and La Bottega del 30 (a Michelin star restaurant) in Tuscany. While in Italy she was able to fully be aware of the philosophy of Italian culinary and cultural traditions that left a lasting impact in her viewpoint. Burrell served as a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board to brighten children's lives who are facing difficulties. Burrell is also an Juvenile Research Foundation Celebrity ambassador which promotes the awareness of juvenile diabetes. as a speaker, guest and teacher she travels across the US to talk about her passion for cooking as well as her career. Anne was always grateful that she was able to share her passion that she had for and her passion for cooking, with people around the world.
