Alicia Machado was born Yoseph Alicia Machado in Maracay Venezuela on 6 December 1976. Alicia is of mixed ancestry. His father is Spanish and her mother Cuban. She's been a prominent actor in film, television and beauty contests all her career. Alicia Machado's rise to fame was first noticed when she won the title of Miss Venezuela in 1995 at the age of 19 which was the name of her state Yaracuy. Her crowning accomplishment came a year later when she won the Miss Universe 1996 title, the fourth Venezuelan winner of the highly sought-after title. Her time during her time as Miss Universe, however, was a source of controversy as well as criticism from the media because of the weight gain she experienced during her tenure. Donald Trump who was the Miss Universe Organization's owner at the time, publicly mocked her for her weight increase. Trump was known as "Miss Piggy", and made her exercise in front of the reporters.
